"God desiring us to be may have been so in the past, but what would he think of us now? "

Exactly the same, Offak. God exists outside of Time.

Thank you.

These are the responses which restore my faith, at least partially, in the human race.

I haven't much of a reason to continue anymore on this discussion along the same threads that I originally started. It was a rather wild thing of me to demand that of people.

I've also reached a conclusion regarding humanity's existence. I think I might have known it a while ago, I just forgot it. I do that a lot these days, for some reason...

I am content.

That's my favorite, Chang.

for the Glory of Porn!
Yes, My friend Chang...
For if you do not have porn...
hot chicks, or orgies...
Then, life really is not worth living in the end.... is it?

*Winston Churchill speech impression*
We shall watch porn on the beaches, we shall watch porn on the landing grounds,
we shall defeeend our (sacred) porn!
whaaaatever the cost may be....
We shall watch porn in the fields and in the streets, we shall watch it in the hills,
We shall ne'ver surrender!
Then, they will say....
Ne'veeeer have so many watched so much porn
in the span of so little time... due to so many different reasons,
under such dire circumstances...
um........ orgy-orgy-orgy
I-forget-the-rest-of-the-speech-so-must-talk-to-waste-time
Curse-the-English-for-their-looong-@$$-speeches
porn-porn-porn...
yadda-yadda-yadda-more orgy's...
blah-blah-blah

Okay... you've heard enough now.
Stop slacking and get back to work...

to debate
to learn
to live
to love

and to repeat it all over and over, even when we do not agree.

we cannot in fact justify humanity unless we use our faith and to do so will insult one person or another. But we can justify ourselves by saying, we can love, we can think and really, if we keep doing these, is there any more justification needed?

I think I can safely say that our existence in the present times, within most of the people, is free of the old assumptions that it had been given to us by god and is therefor justified.
It now depends what we consider to be true ... whether this existence we have is totally free, that we're thrown into existence without any justification and therefore don't need one, or that this existence, just because of it being so free, needs us to justify it.
Then ... how can someone justify his/her existence?
Several things come to mind ...
(a) by creating, by giving something of worth to other people,
(b) by acting responsibly,
(c) by caring for other people and the common work humanity means etc.
Does someone who doesn't justify his/her existence loose its meaning?
(1) Is being justified better than not being justified?
(2) If not, why raise the distinction?
(3) If so, is not calling one side justified the exact same thing as moralizing?

Homo sapiens, the only creature endowed with reason, is also the only creature to pin its existence on things unreasonable.

And that is why Europe with it's subjective truth is dying out.

No.
It's really far more simple then that!
Our existance has been proven to be a total waste of time - and not only is Europe dying out bree, - the world is.
No Jesus will come, no messiah will show up.
We are alive, - therefore we will die.
This is the simplest, most obvious truth of our existence, and yet very few of us have really come to terms with it.
Deal with it.
Your own existence may be over tomorrow, swept away by a careless driver or a bone stuck in your throat.
Your dead body not a beautiful picture of existence it makes.
Basta!

Death is not the end of one's existence.

Death is the end of our physical existence. To dust we return.

The soul is freed at death to travel to the light. The soul is our spiritual existence, which is never ending.

I witnessed the soul traveling to the light with my father's recent passing and it was a great reassurance to my brother and I. It strengthened our faith in the teachings of God and his son, Jesus.

Peace,
