*L* i don't think aliens are involved. Things are getting a little....sciency, yes. Time shifting, electromagnetics, cloning...wormholes?

i can't believe i almost forgot probably the best line of the episode:

"Mallomars"

*hee*

Just found a very interesting recap from Entertainment Weekly regarding the episode. Picked up on a few clues and tidbits that i missed. And gave a very insightful look into Locke's past, present and possible future.

OK, i had to watch the There's No Place Like Home, part 1 just before the finale, because i was away when it first aired. So my commentary on that will be brief: Hugo, at his welcome back party, with a t-shirt that reads "Ace of Spades." Nope, no symbolism there....and Ben and Locke make on hell of comedy team.

Now, on to Part Two......

i.
what the.
GAH!

He really moved the island! And he can't go back! (Or -can- he?)

OMGWTFLOCKE!

DESMOND! PENNY! KISS! i heart them so much. Screw the Kate/Sawyer smooch.

Although Sawyer emerging from the waves, shirtless? Thank you, Darlton! Thank you so.very.much.

And Sawyer & Hugo. God, those two together are sweet. Brotherly sweet, not Brokeback Mountain sweet.

Again, Ben and Locke with the funny. i really enjoyed their banter, the non-verbals...

On a more serious note...is it me, or do Ben and Locke have a bit of a Professor Xavier/Magneto thing going on...Locke's peaceful, wants to talk, all "one with the universe", and Ben is railing against everything that ISN'T part of the Island. i'm sure it's more complicated than that, but i just got that impression in this episode.

Keamy. Dude. i knew he wasn't long for this earth, but man. Yeah, go Ben.

Jack and his ego/martyr complex.

Poor Sun. i really thought in "Ji Yeon" that she was pretending to really mourn Jin. i'm still holding out hope. For Michael? Not so much. Christian (Jacob?) basically told him to "go home".

"Checkmate, Mr. Eko." i got the shivers. How about you?

Sun telling Papa Paik off. Sweet! And what does she want with Widmore? Is it Ben she's after, or Widmore himself? i so want Sun to join Ben's elite assassin squad. She can be Black Mamba to Sayid's Cottonmouth.

Speaking of Sayid - where did he take Hugo?

i don't care if i'd said this a thousand times, i'll say it again - Emerson better get the freaking Emmy. This episode alone should clinch it.

DO WE REALLY HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SEPTEMBER, KELTIE? *whimper*

did you catch the "commercial" for Octagon Global Recruting? aka Dharma? Viral marketing - i love it. i just read that Comic Con is going to be in San Diego, CA from July 24-27...bet there'll be some sneak previews then.

I'm going to need the entire summer to recover from this

I immediately started watching Gossip Girl afterwards to clear my head

I did love Locke mentioning the whole metal in the cubby hole thing...
I laughed out loud
