Grau.

Thanks for your comments. I understand the ban comes as a surprise and it was made to make the point that you can't just expect to get away with murder around here anymore.

Matt & Grau. I think you guys would make excellent candidates for "community representatives". I had a phone call today with a member who brought this idea up again and I think in light of recent events it would be a great idea to have a meeting once a month with representatives of the community to hammer out any issues, squash any silly rumors that might be floating around, and just have some one-on-one time with me.

CM will be contacting a few folks and we'll try to get a good sample of the different members... a handful from each area.. NHB, D/s, Dark Pines etc.

No CM will not be choosing his buddies... you will probably be surprised by some of the folks we'll invite.

Unfortunately, Vindicator, usually people are unwilling to directly address the issues that they have with me/us.

So they wait until it becomes a "boiling point" issue, and then explode and handle it in a less than pleasant manner, and thus get themselves removed.

We've shown nothing but patience regarding the matters recently. There are people still chatting here who on any other site would have LONG since been removed for their actions.

If people have issues, what they should do is address it quickly and to the people involved. Waiting until you can't handle it any longer and then blowing up and yelling at the guy who owns the place isn't really the best way to stay here. This isn't a "love it or leave it" policy, this is a policy of "handle your issues the right way, or handle the consequences".

I think that's relatively reasonable. If someone has an issue with me, I would -hope- they would bring it up to me, or, if not, at least to Lee AND Me. If there are issues of trust, integrity, etc. then please, air them in a polite and timely manner and we can address them.

Waiting a year to address something and then bringing it up doesn't help your credibility. Most people can't even remember their shopping lists from yesterday, let alone something that happened a year ago.

So I encourage anyone who has issues to voice them, and do it respectfully. You don't have to kiss our asses, just don't BE an ass about it.-CM

I think you'd be surprised at how it all went down. Being a close personal friend of his, I think it is very safe to say he was definitely not given due process in this case. He presented a question in a very clear, concise way. He did not name names, he did not point fingers, he merely asked a question.

It just turns out some people didn't like the question.

The one burning question that never seemed to have been answered however..

...is that how was it so easy to sit back as saiya, NWWB, and several others were degraded, humiliated, and otherwise shamed into never coming back...Yet you even mention one tiny thing that might even almost resemble a jab at the owners of this place, and you are banned immediately.

You talk about words like integrity, and everything else, but in reality, its more like you have to have a brown nose in order to stay on the good side.

L~C never did anything to anyone. He didn't even violate a single one of the Pork's guidelines or rules. Instead, it appears he caught the owner on a bad day, who made a rash decision, actually sent him an email APOLOGIZING for the ban...yet lets it stick.

Justice? Community Representatives? This is a dictatorship. Pure and simple. And enjoy the post while its here, because I'm sure it will be deleted soon enough.

Vindicator, let's be clear: I didn't say I had a problem with people voicing issues a year after the fact. What I said was, the people who do it won't remember the real issues and what really happened, so that makes it difficult to address the situation.

I'm absolutely not perfect. I've made mistakes. But to be honest, I can only think of -two- situations I've handled where I went about it the wrong way.

And yours wasn't one of them.

If people want to air an issue publicly, that's fine. But they should be prepared to have details about the issue voiced so that both sides can be represented equally.

If people really want their dirty laundry aired, then hey, we can do it that way. But frankly... that doesn't seem very "professional".-CM

What are you so afraid of by continuously deleting my posts?

I asked a very simple question. What Pork rule did Lightning~Crashes violate to get him banned?

Or perhaps you can share the warning email or pager message you shared before the ban?
